In this lesson
- recap the most important points of the whole course
- get a plan for continuing safely
- find out what to learn next
Congratulations – you have completed the whole Crypto basics course. You now know more about crypto than most people who buy it based on a social media video. And above all, you know where the risks hide.
What to take away from the course#
- A blockchain is a shared record of payments that nobody can quietly rewrite.
- Bitcoin has a limited supply, Ethereum runs programs; most altcoins and memecoins do not survive.
- Choose an exchange by its licence, not its ads; never give anyone your seed phrase.
- Scams share the same signs: a sure profit, urgency and a request for money or details.
- For most people, investing makes more sense than trading; if you trade, use a stop-loss and small risk.
How to continue safely#
- Practise without money. Many platforms offer a demo account where you trade with virtual money. Try orders, stop-losses and position sizing without risk.
- Keep a journal. For every trade, write down why, where the stop-loss is and how it turned out. In a few months you will see your own mistakes in black and white.
- Start with small amounts. Real money brings emotions a demo never will. Keep it small at first.
- Have a plan and stick to it. How much you invest, how often and when you sell – decide in advance.
- Keep learning – and be suspicious of anyone who promises a sure profit.
What to learn next#
In the academy's next courses we will look in more detail at:
- technical analysis – trends, support and resistance, indicators and multiple timeframes,
- risk management – planning trades, position sizing and working with a portfolio,
- trading psychology – why people make the same mistakes and how to avoid them.
The most important thing, once more
Never invest money you need to live on, and never invest on credit. Crypto can fall by tens of percent within days – and no course will change that.

- Continue with a demo account, a trading journal and small amounts.
- Have a plan, manage risk and do not trust promises of sure profit.
